Payment, Pricing, Taxes and Duties Policy

This Policy explains payment methods, pricing, taxes, duties, and checkout charges for purchases made from Vintage Kiste Berlin.

We may cancel or hold an order if payment cannot be verified or if fraud risk is detected.

Product prices are displayed in the currency available for your selected market.

Recommended market currencies are: Germany - EUR; Greece - EUR; Italy - EUR; France - EUR; Ireland - EUR; Austria - EUR; Poland - PLN; Switzerland - CHF.

The product page, cart, and checkout should display a consistent currency for the selected market unless currency conversion is clearly enabled and compliant with the applicable platform settings.

4. Price Accuracy

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that prices and product information are accurate.

If a product is listed with an incorrect price, incorrect discount, technical error, or obvious pricing mistake, we may cancel the order and refund any amount paid.

5. Taxes

Applicable taxes may be calculated and shown at checkout depending on the delivery destination and applicable law.

For Germany orders, sales tax may be collected where required.

For European Union consumer orders, product prices displayed to consumers should include VAT where required by applicable law and checkout configuration.

For Switzerland, applicable taxes, duties, or import-related charges may be calculated or collected depending on checkout configuration and local rules.

6. Duties and Import Fees

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import VAT, brokerage fees, and other government-imposed charges.

Where such charges are collected by us, they will be displayed at checkout before payment.

If duties, taxes, or import fees are not collected at checkout, the customer may be responsible for paying them directly to the carrier or local authorities before or upon delivery.

7. No Hidden Charges

Before placing your order, checkout will display the product price, applicable discounts, shipping charges, taxes, duties or import charges collected by us, and the total amount payable.

We do not intentionally add hidden product, shipping, handling, carrier, or service fees after the order is placed.

The shipping rule published in our Shipping Policy — free standard shipping for merchandise subtotals of USD 99.00 or more, and a flat USD 15.00 standard shipping fee for merchandise subtotals below USD 99.00 — should be reflected at checkout for the applicable order, except where a clearly disclosed promotion provides a lower rate.

8. Promotions and Discounts

Promotions, discount codes, and sale prices may be subject to additional terms. Discounts cannot be applied retroactively unless expressly stated.

For customers in the European Economic Area, where we announce a price reduction, we aim to comply with applicable prior-price disclosure requirements.
